SACHIN WATCHED NATRANG
A special screening was organised by the movie makers this Thursday at a multiplex in suburban Bandra, where the legendary batsman walked in with his wife Anjali and close friend Ajit Ranade.
He was also accompanied by filmmakers Indra Kumar, Rakesh Mehra, Nishikant Kamat, director Ravi Jadhav and lead actor Atul Kulkarni for the late night show.
The movie, depicting the plight of a 'Tamasha' artist, turned out to be a fine watch for Sachin, who was all praise for Atul's work and the film music, by composer-duo Ajay-Atul.
"On and off, I keep on watching many movies. This is a standard piece of work in the recent times," he said.
Atul said, "Sachin had expressed his desire to watch the movie when we met recently for the screening of 'Peepli Live'. He appreciated it a lot, discussed it meticulously and asked several questions as to how I got under the skin of the character."
"Sachin has made us proud and happy through his work over two decades now...And it is nice that we could reciprocate it in our own way...Its a great feeling," Atul said.
